How To Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter To Spring

February is over which means that we’re ALMOST THERE! We’re almost done with Winter. Almost is the key phrase there since it’s still chilly even though the sun has decided to come back out! We know it can be stressful planning an outfit during these times so we’ve put together some fabulous ensembles that you can put together combining both summer and winter pieces.

We have a color obsession with yellow right now, and it’s because it’s the perfect tone for this season. Yellow is pale and light so it works in the winter months to brighten up ensembles and it also is a great color for Spring, bringing out the sunny disposition in us all! This outfit takes a lovely yellow coat and layers it on top a very summery ensemble. This works to keep you warm, but you’re also wearing fun summer staples!

Do you have a great graphic t-shirt that you like to tie off? Want to start bust it out right now? You totally can! No need to wait for the temperature to change! Throw a basic cardigan on top to give you some protection. Don’t forget to add a pop of fun with a great printed accessory.

This outfit is preppy perfection and is a great example of how you can pair cozy winter sweaters with light and fun Spring pants. These pink chinos are comfortable and make a color statement. The cozy cardigan will keep you warm, but also offers a perfect neutral offset to the brightness of the pants. We’ve also added a touch of whimsy with the spiral earrings!

Jumpsuits, jumpsuits, jumpsuits! These pieces have taken over as a basic for Spring/Summer so if you want to start buying jumpsuits now, you can start rocking them with a faux leather jacket until the weather clears up and you’re able to wear the item on its own!

Have a cute dress you’re itching to wear? Layer a fun color-blocked cardigan on top with a fun fringed scarf to keep away the breeze! We couldn’t resist tracking down some fantastic printed shoes as well since we hope wearing florals will force Spring to come faster lol!
